Finance and Data Team Assistant
The Diocese of Chelmsford is a Church of England Diocese and works throughout Essex and East London serving a population of 2.9 million people. The Chelmsford Diocesan Board of Finance (CDBF) is the company, and registered charity, that manages the financial affairs of the Diocese.
The successful applicant will join a busy Finance and Data Team, helping to support the day-to-day financial processes of the CDBF group of companies.
- Have experience in purchase and/or sales ledger processing
- Are educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Are self motivated, proactive and able to effectively prioritise a busy workload when undertaking a range of technical finance tasks (including invoicing, payments, receipts and inputting)
- Are able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and able to demonstrate tact and diplomacy

Salary: £19,344 to £21,279 per annum (pro rata for part time) subject to experience and qualifications.
This is a full time role (35 hours per week). However, part time hours will be considered for the right candidate.
