Who Are We?
Futures Advice, Skills and Employment is a company jointly owned by Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council. We provide skills and employability services including the National Careers Service across the Central Eastern and East Midlands Regions. Ofsted has awarded Futures Outstanding in February 2017.

Our mission is to inspire people of all ages to achieve their potential and, in so doing, promote social mobility and support inclusive economic growth.

What are we looking for?
At Futures we have a strong value set that we expect all colleagues to actively demonstrate their commitment to.  Our values are our DNA that link us as colleagues and make us a stronger organisation that pulls together to ensure we fulfil our mission.

What can we offer?
We are a company in change and growth.  We believe in the importance of supporting our colleagues to develop their potential, and we place a strong focus on Continuing Professional Development. With our support and your commitment, we offer you the potential to succeed in a range of positions. If we can’t offer you something internally, when you’re ready to succeed, we will support you to secure progression externally.

At Futures, company-wide values underpin who we are and what we do and it is essential that all colleagues share these.  Having these values means we work in a culture which is open to learning and improvement, leads by example, is passionate about making a difference and develops the potential of both colleagues and clients. If these are values that you share and you would like to join our ‘Outstanding’ organisation at an exciting time of growth, then we would like to hear from you.
