Executive Office Manager
This role has three distinct areas of responsibility:
- To provide confidential and personal executive support to the Council's Chief Executive and ensure the efficient management, administration and organisation of his personal workload, related office functions and critical internal and external relationships
- To provide a full range of support to ensure the effective and efficient administration, forward agenda planning and meetings management of the Council's Corporate Management Team (CMT)
- To manage the PAs to the Chief Executive and assigned Personal Assistants (Executive Support), to ensure a flexible resources to support the Executive Office.
The Executive Office Manager reports directly to the Manager Strategic and Executive Support, and works closely with the Chief Executive and Commissioning Directors. The Office Manager is expected to build effective networks across the Council including Members and all Senior Mangers.
The post-holder also needs to engage with and foster positive relations with key external stakeholders, senior business executives and high profile public sector personal including MP's and Government offices.
The role requires significant organisational and communication skills, a high level of political awareness combined with sensitivity and total confidentiality.
