Hours: 30 hours per week over 4 days for 52 weeks of the year

Salary: GBP7.65 - GBP7.84 per hour according to qualifications and experience

Qualification in NVQ III is desirable although we will consider those with at least NVQ II. Hythe Bay Church of England Primary School and Children's Centre is a fully integrated organisation. The small seaside town of Hythe is a fantastic environment for learning in its broadest sense. The nursery is housed in a bright attractive building and has easy access to outside learning and activities. We also provide Children's Centre services, out of school clubs and good working and supportive relationships with local community groups.

Hythe Bay Children's Centre Nursery is located in the seaside town of Hythe, as part of Hythe Bay Church of England Primary School & Children's Centre. Built in September 2000, this includes a light, airy, open plan environment leading out to an extensive outdoor play area. The beach, canal, park and shops are within easy walking distance providing excellent everyday learning opportunities to extend and develop all areas of the curriculum.

Hythe Bay Children's Centre Nursery is part of a Governor run Children's Centre providing a wide range of facilities for the care and development of children and families. The Centre has Charity status and therefore is a self-funding, non-profit making organisation.

Hythe Bay Children's Centre promotes a warm, friendly, stimulating, environment, where all children are encouraged to learn through a high quality play provision. We ensure that all children, regardless of ability, access all areas of our Nursery and a highly skilled professional staff team work with families to nurture each child's full potential and develop their self-confidence for life.

The Nursery consists of a Baby Unit (12 places), Toddler (12 places) and Pre-School (24 places) areas together with a Term Time only provision 'Little Nursery' (16 places). We are open in the Main Nursery from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday all year round and in Little Nursery from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. term time only.
