AH1205TSI Test, Service & Installation Engineer - Basic Salary £28,000 - £35,000 - Annual Bonus - Pension Scheme - Life Insurance - Flexitime Based from my client's Head Office - Commutable from Redhill, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Horsham, Uckfield, Haywards Heath, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Crawley, East Grinstead I have been exclusively retained by my client, who design, develop, and manufacture a specialist range of electro-mechanical instrumentation. A successful company with an enviable growth record, they are looking to recruit an experienced Test, Service & Installation Engineer to provide expert services to their international clients. This role is based from my client's office and is reporting to the Test & After-Sales Manager. It will involve global travel opportunities (between 25% - 45% after the 1st year) with my client sales being 90% export. Trips away will be no longer than a week at a time, and gives you the opportunity to travel throughout Asia, America and Europe. Full product training will be provided and you will be given the 1st year to get up to speed. It will also encompass the following responsibilities: - Final test of instruments after production. - Performing on-site installation and training of instruments. - Perform maintenance and emergency service, as well as hardware/software upgrades for my client's range of equipment. - Provide technical support over the phone and via email. The successful Test Engineer/ Service Engineer will have: - Previous experience working with instrumentation or electromechanical equipment - mix of mechanical and electrical experience required - Previous experience of working in an export environment or someone who enjoys travel and will not shy away from the opportunity. - A lateral thinker with a high degree of computer literacy.
