weare currently looking to recruit a Territory Manager covering the Essex area for a client of ours. The main purpose of the role is to sell company products to new and existing customers in line with company standards and to achieve monthly and annual sales and margin budgets. The main duties and responsibilities of the role will be:- - Have a thorough understanding of the Trade Direct segment and Company strategy and ensure this is communicated to customers. - Demonstrate a thorough understanding of selling processes and use in all selling situations. - Sell Company products and promotions to new and existing customers - Proactively sell the services to potential new customers that do not currently purchase the products from a third party. - Manage through to completion, specification projects initiated - Communicate regularly to ensure a regular exchange of knowledge and information on all projects where specification impacts. - Ensure that customer accounts are settled on a timely basis and keep customers within their credit terms to maintain business liquidity. - Ensure that all administrative tasks, including reporting and recording, are completed and submitted within timescales and to required standard in order to allow management to review. - Maximise sales across all product ranges, maintaining product knowledge and awareness of the market. - Maintain customer records and files as appropriate and in accordance with the Company guidelines. - Contribute towards the content of all aspects of the Regional Quarterly Business Plans which appertain to them and the customers / areas for which they are responsible. - Maintain regular customer contact in line with journey plans in order to maximise sales and maintain customer intimacy. - To ensure any customer complaints are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner. - Conform to company standard of performance in all areas where service standards exist (no. of calls made, order to call ratio's, etc) - Investigate competitor activity and report details back - Attend and participate at regional and national sales meetings. The ideal candidate will have the following skills:- - Selling skills - Interpersonal skills - Admin skills - Presentation skills - Organisational skills - Communication skills - Geographical knowledge In return my client is offering a very competitive salary of up to £33,000, company car, pension scheme, healthcare and bonus etc.
